Tre timer med tango og hygge
Trænger jeres tango til et rygstød? Vi inviterer til en workshop med fokus på de grundlæggende elementer: kontakt, variation og sammenhæng i dansen.
Her får I tid til at fordybe jer i bevægelserne uden at skulle skynde jer videre. Undervejs afprøver vi også tingene med de andre dansere, så I mærker, hvordan jeres teknik fungerer i forskellige omfavnelser.
Der er dækket op med lidt forplejning, og vi holder pauser, hvor der er tid til at sludre og lande. Vi glæder os til at give jer en eftermiddag, hvor I både arbejder med dansen og nyder selskabet.

Welcome Milonga for Paula & Lucas
We are excited to welcome Paula and Lucas back to Copenhagen!
They are coming to share tango with us, this time for two full weeks. We kick off with a special welcome milonga, with DJ Lucas Carrizo.
La Milonga Que Faltaba
Er Tango Urquizas bud på en milonga, der kan samle vores tangomiljø. Vi ønsker at skabe en varm og sjov atmosfære med et behageligt dansegulv, hvor alle føler sig velkomne.
Savoysalen i Happy Feet Studio er på 200 m² og derfor perfekt til større dansearrangementer.
Titlen ‘La Milonga Que Faltaba’ kommer fra et skønt milongatema og betyder: “milongaen, vi har ventet på.” Ideen startede for mange år siden som en slags arbejdstitel, hvor tanken var, ‘hvad nu hvis man kunne skabe den perfekte milonga?’ Milongaen, hvor både erfarne og mindre erfarne dansere føler sig lige velkomne og veltilpasse.
En inkluderende og varm atmosfære med et behageligt dansegulv, hvor tangoens gode etikette følges, og tangokulturens rødder kan mærkes, uden at det føles som gammeldags regler og ideer. En stemning af fest, omfavnelser, venskaber og al den bedste tangomusik, hvor alle går hjem med et strejf af tangoens magi.

Workshop 7th June: Alteraciones & Spiral Movement (kl. 14-17)-120-minutes class + 60-minutes guided practice time
-Dive into the dynamic world of alteraciones, using spiral motion to transform direction and flow in your dance. Learn how to create and respond to direction changes using torsion. Use spiral energy to generate fluidity and connection.
-Practice time: This is your opportunity to apply what you learned in the lesson, ask questions, and get feedback. Paula and Lucas will be available to support your learning process, offer insights, and dance with students. Let’s dance, connect, and grow together!
Workshop 8th June: Tango Vals (kl. 14-17)-120-minutes class + 60-minutes guided practice time
-Let the rhythm of the tango vals sweep you off your feet!
In this special workshop, we’ll explore the musicality, dynamics, and circular movements that make vals so unique and joyful to dance. Paula and Lucas will guide you through technique, rhythm, and creative sequences that bring elegance and flow to your vals.
-Practice time: This is your chance to integrate what you’ve learned, experiment with new ideas, and get direct feedback from Paula and Lucas. Let’s keep the energy flowing and celebrate the beauty of tango vals!
Immersive workshop 21th & 22nd June: Dancing Pugliese (kl.14-17)-120-minutes class + 60-minutes guided practice time each day
-Theme: Pugliese – Dramaturgy, Suspension, and Expression to the limit.
We are going to explore and apply the technical and expressive tools needed to interpret Pugliese orchestra:
*Recognition of pauses, syncopations, and strong accents.
*Musical phrasing: connecting movement with melody.

*Non-verbal communication in silence.
*Use of gaze and breath as guides.
*How to create a shared narrative based on the music.

20th FRIDAY GUIDED PRACTICA PROGRAMWe open up the space for guided practica with Paula, Lucas, Myeonghwa and Linus. This is your opportunity to apply what you have learnt in the lessons, experiment with new ideas, and get feedback from 4 teachers! The atmosphere will be relaxed and friendly — perfect for practicing, connecting with other dancers, and enjoying the music.

As a young couple they moved to Buenos Aires and in 2010 they won the Metropolitan Tango Championship. They have been part of the brilliant Miguel Angel Zotto production – TangoX2 touring with the company. They have performed and conducted workshops in Asia, USA and Europe.
